Spent quite a lot of time trying to finish my course assignment. Boring but I don’t have much time to get it finished. Rough sea, windy (no change there) but very warm and humid. Both air and sea temperature are 27c. Sadly no sun and lots of rain showers!
Had a wine tasting, Captain’s cocktail party, Burns Night Ball and crossing the equator ceremony. In the evenings a comedian, a singer and a mind reader.
We arrive in Forteleza, Brazil at 8.00am tomorrow. Hoping the weather will improve!
A very pleasant sail to Barbados overnight arriving in Bridgetown early this morning. 28c and mostly sunny. Went down to the beach for a while and Terry had a few birthday beers! Last here nearly 40 years ago!
We now have three days st sea before arriving in Fortaleza, Brazil. Hopefully enough time to clear my cold!
After another very windy day at sea we arrived in Martinique this morning. Did a tour of the island. Plenty of bananas and sugar cane. First stop was to try three different rums at a distillery with yet more rum at lunch! Pretty little island. 
Arrived at Grand Turk in wind and rain! However by 1pm the sun was out and we ventured off to the beach (a bar at the beach to be more precise!)
It’s all aboard at 4pm but at least we’ve now seen the sun. Day at sea tomorrow on our way to Martinique. 
We are approaching Grand Turk and will arrive tomorrow morning. Can’t believe how windy it still is. Very little sun again today so went to the spa for a manicure and pedicure. Watched Colin Jackson’s motivational talk in the theatre. Also tried to do a little studying!
We’ve stopped here a few times before so already done the usual tourist bit! The beach looks inviting but not warm enough for this wimp! Shopping it is then…..
Feels so good to get off the ship and on a lovely sunny day!
Weather has improved greatly today so spent more time outside. Apart from seeing David Gower again and going to a wine tasting!
US immigration to look forward to tomorrow 😕
A sleepless Thursday night with high winds and nine metre swells but Friday and Saturday was so much better!
Brows tinted, played table tennis, David Gower lecture, Captain’s cocktail party, theatre – now that’s more like it!
